Andalusian Chicken-Chorizo Paella – a classic Spanish staple layering saffron-infused Bomba rice with chicken, Spanish chorizo, soffrito, and green beans based on a trip to Seville (GF, NF, DF)

Andalusian Vegetable Paella – a variation of the classic Andalusian paella studded with summer’s bounty of produce rich with the traditional flavors of saffron and smoky paprika (GF, NF, Veg, DF)

Macarrones con Chorizo – think of this is as your ultimate Spanish ziti/ “comfort food” – Spanish chorizo, manchego and a zesty tomato sauce baked to bubbly deliciousness (NF) (note this is a baked pasta entrée, not a pasta “kit”)

Spinach with Chickpeas – a healthy, hearty side dish of sautéed spinach and tomato packed with chickpeas and flavored with garlic, cumin and sweet paprika (NF, Veg, DF)

Roasted Broccolini – tender stalks of broccolini adorned with garlic oil and preserved lemon (NF, Veg, DF, GF)

Side Salad with Paprika Vinaigrette – optional “extras” (GF, NF, Veg, DF) optional four “extra” seasonal toppings

Frozen Mini Cookie Dough – Bakers dozen Guittard Chocolate Chip (NF, V)

GF – Gluten Free | NF – Nut Free | V – Vegetarian | Veg – Vegan | DF – Dairy Free

Order by 8:00 PM May 2nd (Sunday) for pick-up or delivery Wednesday, May 5th. Pick up locations: the kitchen (5:00-10:00 PM @ 1760 Cesar Chavez Unit M) OR Home Service Market (4:00-7:30 PM @ 1700 Hayes Street). San Francisco delivery upon request ($7.00, delivery window 2:00-5:30).

Venmo payments can be made to @Kara-Forman. If PayPal payment is not received we will send you an electronic invoice via PayPal to ensure your order is completed.

We take your health, and the safety of the food we provide you, seriously and personally. Think of FineFoods as your private chef outside of your kitchen, safely and thoughtfully sourcing and preparing ingredients. FineFoods keeps a tight control on how our ingredients and meals are processed to ensure we are a trusted source for you. In these times of COVID we have further strengthened our rigorous sanitation practices to meet current established guidelines. Be assured we’ve got you “covered” as in masks up, crazy frequent hand washing, gloves (can never have enough on hand) and sanitizing surfaces frequently during production. I won’t even bore you with the steps taken to ensure procured items are handled properly from vendors or retail shops (but feel free to ask)

Quick follow up to my last “mussels alert” pos Quick follow up to my last “mussels alert” post as the dish up wasn’t uploaded. But this was the reward of our harvest - red curry Thai style #mussels. We obviously saved the broth for a future #seafood pasta dish ;-) Good rule of thumb - always prepping forward. ;-)
Mussel alert! One of my favorite times of the the Mussel alert! One of my favorite times of the the year is when the king low tides exposes a bounty. Harvesting #mussels on the coast of Northern California (easy angler permit)  for a truly local dinner. (We’ve been out previously waist-deep rolling waves in wetsuits so this day was an easy one.) Tucker (lover of all seafood) is always willing to “help” ;-). Adorned with curry paste, coconut milk, chilies, and tons of ginger and garlic, it’s a highlight of our winter season and fun exposition!

If you love oysters but loath shucking, I have a game-changer for you compliments of #ChefSteps.Briefly sous viding oysters makes them crazy easy to shuck! While still raw, the almost imperceptible "firming" of the texture was divine. Who knew?

Properly roasted, with creamy interiors, Brussel S Properly roasted, with creamy interiors, Brussel Sprouts are one of my favorite winter comfort foods. This version, on next week's menu, layers sweet onion and chilies with an umami flavor boost of a little of soy sauce and shaoxxing vinegar (a nod to Ottolenghi's new book, Flavor, that I've been exploring). I do appreciate how he twists flavors.

Every celebratory meal deserves a fabulous sweet e Every celebratory meal deserves a fabulous sweet ending. The request was for classic cheesecake; unfortunately this photo fails to depict the mile high creamy goodness lurking below. Layering strawberries (as requested) with fresh, coulis, gel and dehydrated. Oh la la!
